Ian, Jane & Alice are off to India in November with The Anganwadi Project to help build pre-schools as part of the Steps For Schools 2014 program. With a target of raising over $10,000, they need your help!
Wondering where your money goes?
$50 buys and connects a new ceiling fan
$200 pays for a new tap giving students access to clean water
$500 funds the construction of a new roof
$1500 erects the exterior walls
$3500 lays the floow, and builds the walls and roof of the school
$6000 funds the construction of a new school with a fenced sustainable garden. You will not only provide a beautiful space in which the children can learn, but also a peaceful and safe sanctuary. Schools are a place where children often receive what is their only meal for the day. Out of school ours, The Anganwadi Project pre-schools become vibrant community hubs for these impoverished communities. They double as meeting centres, gardens and even health clinics.

Dear TAP Supporters,
The Anganwadi Project is looking for your support to continue building pre-schools in disadvantaged areas of India.
TAP designs and builds anganwadi (preschools) within the informal settlements of Ahmedabad, Gujarat and rural areas of Andhra Pradesh alongside our local partners and communities.
These small buildings make an enormous difference by giving young children the best possible start in life through a beautiful, well-designed and built, safe space to receive an education and good nutrition.
The Anganwadi Project relies solely on the generosity of donations from our supporters and sponsors. Please help us continue our work by making a donation to the project. All donations are tax deductible in Australia.
